Microsoft Lync Components License

These copies of Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Lync Attendant are site licensed by the Information Technology Services for use by Iowa State University departments, faculty, students, and staff for use on ISU systems only. Off-campus faculty, students and staff may also use this software on their personal systems while they are affiliated with Iowa State University. Individuals desiring unrestricted fully supported licenses should purchase private copies of Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Lync Attendant directly from Microsoft or through normal software providers or retail outlets.

Distribution of this software must not be made available on any server or system where the software could be copied to systems or used by individuals outside the ISU community. Providing this software to systems or users not specified above violates software licensing laws and could result in legal action.

Faculty, staff and students are licensed to use Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Lync Attendant only during the time they are associated with Iowa State University. Upon leaving the university all copies of the software must be destroyed. Down-loading this software constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
